If you have an unlocked phone. you can connect to any carrier in the US and be able to switch carriers in the future.

You’ll need to get a SIM card or eSIM from a carrier of your choice.
If you have a SIM card from the carrier, all you have to do is insert it into the card holder in your phone.
If you have an eSIM from the carrier, typically you’ll have received a OR code from them after you’ve purchased the plan.
